An impromptu singing contest was held at the May Social Night and the prize was won by Dale.
Alan from West Avenue celebrated his 60th birthday on the same night, with cake for everyone.
Around 20 members of the 'Social Nights' club will be going on a trip to The Beatles Museum in Liverpool on
June 16th

Current funding for the Social Nights runs out in August, so we need to keep fundraising.  The next event we are planning is a Sponsored show in September.

We want as many people as possible to perform on the night - singing, dancing, or other talents - and each person will be given a sponsor form.  As well s getting friends and family as sponsors we also hope to get local businesses to donate.
Scott Newlove who is a member of the 'Social Nights' club completed the Manchester 10km run, raising money for MHIST, Bolton’s Independent support services for people with Mental Health problems.

Comco has obtained a small grant to help carers have a break.  The way we will use this is to offer 7 ½  free hours of support to people in our service who live with parents or relatives.

The hours will be provided by our staff and can be used for support at home whilst the carer goes out or by us taking the Client out for the day.  The hours can be split up or used all at one go and can also be combined with existing hours and/or self-funded hours, to make a longer break.

The idea is to help the Carer plan a break that suits them, using the 7 1/1 free hours.  Contact Phil at Head office or Trish at Darren Court for details.
