Comco Social Nights
Outing to Beatles Museum
and Albert Dock
16th June 15
Albert Dock is a great day out with much to see, even if the food outlets are a little expensive. Thanks to the Beatles Story Museum for welcoming us and arranging a reduced price saving over £5.00 for each person, and carers free. The rest of the museums are free including - The Tate Gallery, Maritime Museum, Liverpool People’s  Museum and the Slavery Museum.  Great views too, around the Dock and Waterfront, with iconic buildings like the Liver Building.
The cafe at the Beatles Story was about the best value at £3.00 per sandwich whilst others paid over £10.00 for Burger Meals! Some of the group enjoyed a “Ferry Cross the Mersey” River Cruise complete with theme tune in the background.  Again there was a reduced price and carers free although others reported this was declined as carers needed to be from Liverpool!  Black mark for Mersey Ferries there.

Including Carers there were 31 of us altogether and everyone had a great time.  There were some tired legs at the end of the day.
Comco Social Nights are held at the Railway Club on Green Lane Bolton
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 7pm. All disabled people and their carers are welcome
Thanks to Community Transport for our safe passage to Liverpool and back.
