MP visits Darren Court
Darren Court's Coffee Morning
Bolton south East MP Yasmin Qureshi visited Darren Court in Kearsley to meet residents and parents and listen to their concerns about possible capping of housing benefit, by the government, which would have a significant impact on special needs supported living schemes such as Darren Court.

We have also always had regular meetings for Service Users with Senior Managers. This is an Open Meeting and in recent years has taken place at Darren Court with some people we support on Outreach also attending. Managers may have things to pass on but in the main the agenda is open to Service-Users.

Having already been to the tower at Rivington, the plan is to complete the set in October by doing Darwen Tower before the weather turns

Winners of James' music quiz
Every month at the social night, James presents a music quiz which he has devised himself. The quiz is about identifying tracks and theme tunes. James also provides the prizes which he presents to the winners.

James and Paul went on holiday with support worker Mark Walker, to Newquay in Wales, staying in a caravan. They enjoyed seeing lots of countryside and wildlife, including a boat trip to see Dolphins and Minke Whales.
